When would you need a Dental Implant?
If you loose a tooth, and are left with a gap in the mouth, you may wish to leave the gap, or you may wish to fill the gap with an implant.
What are they?
Dental Implants are titanium screws which are drilled in to your upper or lower jaw bone to retain a crown, bridge or denture, which fills the gap.
How is the procedure done?
The procedure can be done under local anaesthetic, or conscious sedation.
How much are Dental implants?
Your initial consultation is £250, to assess the bone and the site where you need the implant.
The Dental Implant itself costs from £2,000 onwards, and the restoration (crown/ bridge/ denture) will be a separate charge on top of this.
How long does it take?
At your consultation, the Implantologist will discuss the treatment process with you.
Implants can be placed in the jaw, and require a few months of healing, with a cap covering the implant. After healing is complete, the cap can be removed, and the implant crown/ bridge/ denture can be placed.
