Composite Bonding

What is composite bonding?

Composite is a dental filling material, which can be moulded onto your front teeth to achieve an enhanced cosmetic appearance. Composite bonding can be used to mask chips, uneven edges, and close gaps between teeth.

It can also be used as a veneer to mask the outer appearance of the tooth, and change its shape completely.

The benefit of composite is that it is minimally invasive, and often does not require drilling the teeth.

If you want a more comprehensive smile makeover, your dentist may consider aligning your teeth first, using cosmetic orthodontics to move your teeth to a more favourable position prior to bonding, or Veneers.

Often if this approach is adopted, bleaching is done to match the bonding to your whiter smile.
