We have a wealth of written dental advice avaialable on computer which we can print out for you and the system also allows us to show you diagramatic videos of treatment options.

Our Services

Crabtree Road Dental Practice has a well stocked "dental shop" where all our recommended oral health and hygiene products can be purchased. These include electric toothbrushes, toothpastes, interdental cleaning aids and mouthwashes. Our hygienists are very skilled at showing you the best ways of looking after your teeth and will be pleased to demonstrate any of the products that we sell. We also have available an air abrasion unit which enables, in some cases to carry out simple fillings without the use of a dental drill. Mike Powell can where conditions allow use the Wand for delivering local anaesthetic so that patients can leave the practice without too much facial numbness.

We do not carry out these services in house but when required or requested we will refer you to local specialist practitioners who will undertake this treatment on your belaf. We will only refer to specialists that we know and trust.

The practice opening hours are listed below. Mike Powell hold clinics on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but may well increase his hours in 2012 David Armstrong (Kellie Boles)will be available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays initially and then full time from July 2012 Kellie is keen to set up a Saturday clinic and extend some working days to include evening appointments.

MediVision and Patient Information

The surgery has access to MediVision an advanced CD Rom package that allows us to show you how different types of treatment are carried out. We can also print out British Health Foundation Leaflets to compliment this and for you to take home. Remember if you are unsure about any aspect of the treatment that we are proposing you only have to ask us to explain in greater detail. We believe in keeping you well informed about the treatment options and choices available to you. Wherever possible we will try to give you as much information as possible to help you make decisions over your future dental treatment.
